AI-suggested

Since the vulnerability affects versions up to 2.7.5, upgrading to a fixed version beyond 2.7.5 is recommended if available. If no fixed version is currently released, restrict access to the plugin's export and import functionality to trusted users only and monitor for vendor advisories for an official fix.

Description

The Export and Import Users and Customers WordPress plugin (versions up to 2.7.5) contains a privilege escalation vulnerability due to inconsistent CSV escaping between export and import functions. An attacker with Subscriber-level access can craft a CSV payload that, when re-imported, creates a new Administrator account, allowing full privilege escalation.
