Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-106613 is an Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Adobe ColdFusion 2025. It enables an attacker with low privileges to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user without requiring any user interaction. The vulnerability affects ColdFusion versions up to and including 2025.0.13 and 2023.0.25. The CVSS v3.1 score is 8.8, indicating a high severity with network attack vector, low attack complexity, low privileges required, no user interaction, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the current user, potentially leading to full system compromise or unauthorized actions within the ColdFusion environment. The vulnerability does not require user interaction, increasing the risk of remote exploitation.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. No official fix or patch links are provided in the current data. Users should monitor Adobe's advisories for updates and apply patches once available.
