Description
CVE-2026-107124 is a session fixation vulnerability in the OIDC logout endpoint of the keycloak-services component in Red Hat Build of Keycloak. The flaw arises because the system sets a session cookie based on an unvalidated token hint before completing security checks. An attacker can exploit this to fix a session ID in a victim's browser, enabling account takeover upon the victim's next login. The vulnerability requires the victim to have no active session and to visit a crafted URL within a specific timing window. Successful exploitation grants full control over the victim's account, including administrative privileges. Currently, no effective mitigation or patch is available that meets Red Hat's criteria for ease of use and broad applicability.
