Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-107126 is a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (CWE-79) vulnerability in the WP Booking System WordPress plugin. Versions prior to 2.1.0.1 do not sanitize or escape a client-controllable request value before storing it and later outputting it in an admin interface. This flaw permits unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute when an administrator views the stored data, potentially compromising the administrator's session.

Potential Impact

An attacker can perform stored XSS attacks that execute in the administrator's browser session, potentially leading to session hijacking, privilege escalation, or other malicious actions within the admin context. The vulnerability affects unauthenticated attackers, increasing its risk.

Mitigation Recommendations

A fixed version 2.1.0.1 or later should be applied to remediate this vulnerability. Since the affected versions are prior to 2.1.0.1, upgrading to 2.1.0.1 or newer is recommended. No vendor advisory or patch links were provided, so verify the availability of the fix from the official plugin source before upgrading.
