Description

CVE-2026-107466 is a path traversal vulnerability in flatpak-builder on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. Technical Analysis

A flaw in flatpak-builder on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 allows an attacker to cause information disclosure by specifying local file URIs within source download definitions in a crafted build manifest. This bypasses directory confinement checks, enabling the build process to read sensitive host files and incorporate them into build artifacts.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability enables unauthorized disclosure of sensitive host files accessible to the build process. This could expose confidential information to an attacker who convinces a user or CI system to process a malicious build manifest. There is no indication of integrity or availability impact.
