Users should monitor the vendor's advisory for updates. Until a fix is available, restrict subscriber-level user capabilities where possible and consider disabling or limiting the use of the affected plugin. Review and audit user roles and permissions to minimize risk.

Description

The FlexStock – Product Stock Sync with Google Sheets for WooCommerce WordPress plugin versions up to 3.17.2 contain a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This flaw arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping of the 'products[].post_content' parameter. Authenticated users with subscriber-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view the affected pages. The vulnerability is exacerbated by the exposure of a REST bearer token in the Dashboard page source without proper capability checks, allowing exploitation without higher privileges.
