CVE-2026-108760: Binding to an Unrestricted IP Address in llama-farm llamafarm

Published: 10/11/2026 (10/11/2026, 15:31:06 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: llama-farm
Product: llamafarm

Description

LlamaFarm versions up to 0.0.34 have an insecure default configuration that binds its unauthenticated FastAPI server to all network interfaces (0.0.0.0) on port 14345. The command-line interface silently ignores attempts to override the host binding. This allows network-adjacent attackers to access the project and dataset management API without authentication, enabling them to read stored provider API keys, modify projects, trigger ingestion processes, and irreversibly delete projects.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-108760 describes a vulnerability in LlamaFarm through version 0.0.34 where the FastAPI server is bound by default to 0.0.0.0 on port 14345 without authentication. The CLI tool does not allow overriding this insecure binding. This exposure allows attackers on the same network segment to interact with the management API, potentially compromising sensitive API keys and project data, as well as performing destructive actions such as deleting projects irreversibly.

Potential Impact

An attacker with network adjacency can exploit this vulnerability to read sensitive provider API keys, modify existing projects, trigger data ingestion processes, and delete projects permanently. This leads to confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts on the affected system and data.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, users should avoid exposing the FastAPI server to untrusted networks and restrict network access to trusted hosts only. Monitor vendor communications for official patches or configuration changes that allow secure host binding.
