Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-108764 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability classified under CWE-918 affecting Apache Kylin. The vulnerability exists in versions from 4.0.0 up to and including 5.0.4. It mainly affects the Kylin job service if it is exposed to the public network, which is not a typical deployment scenario. The vendor has addressed this issue in Apache Kylin version 5.0.5.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability could allow an attacker to induce the server to make unauthorized requests, potentially leading to information disclosure or interaction with internal systems. However, the impact is limited because the vulnerable service is rarely exposed directly to public networks. In-house deployments are mostly unaffected.

Mitigation Recommendations

Users should upgrade Apache Kylin to version 5.0.5 or later, where this SSRF vulnerability is fixed. Since this is an official fix, applying the upgrade is the recommended remediation. No additional mitigations are specified or required if the upgrade is applied.
