Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: erpipe-org
Product: Odoo MCP

Description

Odoo MCP versions 1.0.0 through 1.3.2 have an information disclosure vulnerability that allows clients to bypass field-level access controls. By invoking the execute_method tool, attackers or prompt-injected agents can read restricted fields unredacted, exposing sensitive information. This vulnerability has a medium severity rating with a CVSS score of 5.3.

Technical Analysis

Odoo MCP versions 1.0.0 through 1.3.2 contain an information disclosure vulnerability (CVE-2026-108861) where MCP clients can bypass field-level access control lists (ACLs) by using the execute_method tool. This tool allows calling read or search_read methods with field names that are normally denied, resulting in unauthorized access to sensitive field values without redaction.

Potential Impact

Attackers or agents with limited privileges can access sensitive information that should be restricted by field-level ACLs. This could lead to exposure of confidential data within the Odoo MCP application. The vulnerability does not require user interaction and has a network attack vector with low attack complexity, but requires low privileges.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict access to the execute_method tool and monitor for unusual use of read or search_read methods with denied fields.
