Technical Analysis
iFlytek Astron Agent through version 1.1.2 contains an insecure direct object reference vulnerability. Authenticated applications can resume other applications' paused workflows by supplying their event_id to the POST /workflow/v1/resume endpoint. Attackers can predict Snowflake event IDs to inject resume content into victim workflows and read their continuation output stream, thereby breaking cross-tenant isolation. This vulnerability impacts the cloud service version of Astron Agent.
Potential Impact
The vulnerability allows authenticated users to bypass authorization controls and interfere with other tenants' workflows by resuming them and reading their output streams. This breaks tenant isolation and could lead to unauthorized data access or workflow manipulation. The CVSS score is low (2.3), indicating limited impact or complexity in exploitation.
Mitigation Recommendations
A patch is available for this vulnerability. Since this is a cloud-hosted service, the vendor manages remediation server-side. Users should verify with the vendor advisory that the service has been updated to address this issue. No additional user action is required if the vendor has applied the fix.
