AI-suggested

Since the affected versions are prior to 7.1.2-32, upgrading to 7.1.2-32 or later is implied as a remediation step. Until a patch is confirmed, users should avoid processing untrusted input with the fx operation. Monitor vendor advisories for official fixes.

Description

A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability exists in ImageMagick versions 7.1.0-20 before 7.1.2-32 in the fx operation. This occurs when initialization of an FX runtime entry fails, leading to an invalid memory free. Exploitation can cause memory corruption and application crashes.
