Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-110035 is an improper access control vulnerability (CWE-284) in the Salon Booking System WordPress plugin versions prior to 10.31.11. The vulnerability arises because one of the plugin's REST API endpoints does not enforce proper role-based restrictions, allowing any authenticated user to access sensitive coupon data. This includes coupons intended to be hidden from customers, exposing their amounts, validity dates, and usage limits. The issue is fixed in version 10.31.11.

Potential Impact

Unauthorized authenticated users can retrieve all discount coupons configured on the site, including those hidden by administrators. This exposure could lead to misuse of coupons, financial loss, or undermining of promotional strategies. The vulnerability does not appear to allow unauthenticated access, nor does it disclose other sensitive data beyond coupon information.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade the Salon Booking System WordPress plugin to version 10.31.11 or later, where this improper access control vulnerability has been fixed. No other mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor advisory.
