Upgrade the Welcart e-Commerce plugin to version 2.12.6 or later, where this authorization flaw has been fixed. No other mitigation is required once the plugin is updated.
Description
A vulnerability in the Welcart e-Commerce WordPress plugin before version 2.12.6 allows any authenticated user with Author-level access or higher to improperly modify SKU data of any product. This occurs because the plugin does not properly verify authorization tied to the specific product being edited, enabling unauthorized read, modification, creation, deletion, and re-ordering of SKU data including prices, cost prices, and stock levels.
