Users should monitor the vendor's advisories for updates addressing this vulnerability. Until a fix is available, consider restricting access to affected functionality or disabling the plugin if feasible. Avoid using affected versions (<=4.7.2) in production environments.

Description

The Prime Slider – Hero Slider, Carousel, WooCommerce & Post Slider Elementor Addons plugin for WordPress contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the 'comment' parameter. This affects all versions up to and including 4.7.2. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute when users view the affected pages.
