AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, avoid opening untrusted MIRAX slides with OpenSlide versions up to 4.0.1.

Description

OpenSlide versions up to 4.0.1 contain a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the MIRAX slide reader. This flaw occurs when crafted Slidedat.ini values cause the CameraImageDivisionsPerSide parameter to not evenly divide the image counts, allowing reading beyond the slide_positions array. This can crash applications opening such slides and corrupt tile geometry.
