Users should disable the 'import product image' option in the plugin settings to prevent exploitation. Monitor the vendor's advisory channels for updates and apply any official fixes once available.

Description

The affiliate-toolkit – Multi-Network Affiliate & Amazon Product Display WordPress plugin is vulnerable to arbitrary file upload in all versions up to and including 3.9.2. The vulnerability arises from insufficient validation of file types in the upload_image function, allowing authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to upload potentially executable files. Exploitation requires the 'import product image' option to be enabled, which triggers the image download process on product post save. This flaw can lead to remote code execution.
