Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-111358 is an authorization bypass vulnerability in sendportal-core through version 4.0.1. Authenticated users with workspace membership can exploit the flaw by submitting unvalidated tag IDs, either sequentially via the web subscriber form or CSV import. This allows them to attach subscribers to tags from other workspaces, thereby accessing victim campaign content and skewing campaign reporting data.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability enables authenticated workspace members to bypass authorization controls and manipulate subscriber-tag associations across workspaces. This can result in unauthorized access to campaign content and inaccurate reporting metrics, potentially impacting data integrity and confidentiality within the SendPortal environment.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict workspace member permissions to limit tag management capabilities and monitor for unusual subscriber-tag associations.
