Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-111643 describes an authentication bypass vulnerability in Misaka Danmu Server through version 2.8.9. The flaw exists in the POST /api/ui/config-history/rollback endpoint, which lacks authentication controls. Exploiting this, attackers can write arbitrary configuration keys, including setting the ipWhitelist to their own IP address, or altering trustedProxies and webhookApiKey. These changes effectively grant attackers administrator privileges, allowing full access to protected server functions. The vulnerability has a CVSS 4.0 score of 9.3, indicating critical severity.

Potential Impact

Attackers can gain administrator-level access to the Misaka Danmu Server by bypassing authentication and modifying configuration keys. This compromises the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the server, potentially allowing full control over protected endpoints and sensitive configurations.

Mitigation Recommendations

No patch or official fix information is provided. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict network access to the vulnerable endpoint and monitor for unauthorized configuration changes.
