Published: 10/16/2026 (10/16/2026, 17:39:28 UTC)
Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: steedos
Product: steedos-platform

Description

Steedos Platform versions up to 3.0.15-beta.51 have an authorization bypass vulnerability allowing authenticated users to access report definitions belonging to other tenants. This occurs because the objectql callAdapter does not enforce space filtering for enable_space_global objects on find/findOne operations, enabling unauthorized data disclosure via the GET /api/v1/reports endpoint.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-111666 describes an authorization bypass vulnerability in Steedos Platform through version 3.0.15-beta.51. Authenticated users can exploit the lack of space filtering in objectql's callAdapter for enable_space_global objects during find/findOne calls. This allows them to query the reports object via GET /api/v1/reports and retrieve report names, descriptions, and associated object and field API names from other tenants, violating tenant data isolation.

Potential Impact

Authenticated users can read report definitions from other tenants, potentially exposing sensitive metadata such as report names, descriptions, and API details. This compromises tenant data confidentiality but does not indicate direct access to tenant data records or system control.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict access to the reports API endpoint to trusted users only and monitor for unusual access patterns.
