AI-suggested

Upgrade to @modelcontextprotocol/server version 2.3.0 or later, where the issue is fixed. Note that upgrading requires application code changes because reused server or transport instances will fail. Avoid sharing a single stateless HTTP transport or McpServer instance among multiple clients. Use per-request or per-session server/transport instances to prevent collisions. No other mitigations are indicated.

Description

CVE-2026-111770 is a race condition vulnerability in the Model Context Protocol TypeScript SDK server component versions 2.0.0 up to but not including 2.3.0. The flaw occurs when a single stateless HTTP transport or McpServer instance is shared among multiple clients, causing responses and notifications to be delivered to incorrect clients due to request identifier collisions. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.0.
