Source: CVE Database V5
Vendor/Project: operacle
Product: checkcle

Description

CheckCle versions up to and including 1.6.0 have a missing authorization vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to read, modify, and delete records. This is due to default PocketBase collections using empty API rules. Attackers can exploit this to access sensitive server_token values and alert configuration secrets, disable alerting, alter status pages, or delete monitoring data.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-112292 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in operacle's CheckCle product through version 1.6.0. The vulnerability arises because the shipped PocketBase collections have empty API rules, permitting unauthenticated attackers to access the /api/collections/<name>/records endpoints. This access enables attackers to steal sensitive tokens and secrets, disable alerting mechanisms, modify status pages, or delete monitoring data, resulting in a critical security impact.

Potential Impact

Unauthenticated attackers can fully compromise the integrity and confidentiality of monitoring data by reading, modifying, or deleting records. They can steal sensitive server_token values and alert configuration secrets, disable alerting functions, and alter status pages, potentially disrupting monitoring and alerting operations.

Mitigation Recommendations

No patch or official fix information is provided in the available data. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected API endpoints and implement custom authorization rules to prevent unauthenticated access.
