Technical Analysis
CVE-2026-113600 describes an insecure direct object reference vulnerability in Fat Free CRM prior to version 0.26.0. The CommentsController's update and destroy actions use unscoped Comment.find calls without verifying user authorization. As a result, authenticated users can send PUT or DELETE requests with sequential comment IDs to modify or delete comments owned by other users across various CRM entities such as contacts, accounts, leads, and opportunities.
Potential Impact
Authenticated users can bypass authorization controls to modify or delete comments that they do not own. This can lead to unauthorized data manipulation within the CRM system, potentially affecting data integrity and trustworthiness of comment records.
Mitigation Recommendations
Upgrade Fat Free CRM to version 0.26.0 or later where this vulnerability is fixed. The vendor advisory or patch links are not provided, but the affected versions are explicitly before 0.26.0, indicating that 0.26.0 contains the fix.
