Users should monitor the vendor's advisory channels for updates. Until a fix is available, consider restricting access to the affected AJAX action or implementing custom authorization checks to prevent unauthenticated access. Avoid exposing the 'filtersFrontend' AJAX endpoint to unauthenticated users if possible.

Description

The Product Filter for WooCommerce by WBW plugin for WordPress versions up to 3.4.6 contains a missing authorization vulnerability. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate the 'filterSettings[default_query]' parameter in the 'filtersFrontend' AJAX action, bypassing capability and nonce checks. As a result, attackers can enumerate non-public WooCommerce products, including drafts and pending items, and retrieve their count and rendered listings. The vulnerability also permits unbounded queries that can load all products in a single request.
