Upgrade SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway to version 15.1.1 or later, where this LDAP injection vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation or workaround is indicated by the vendor.
Description
SEPPmail Secure Email Gateway (SEG) versions before 15.1.1 contain an LDAP injection vulnerability in the GINA web interface. This flaw arises because the software does not properly neutralize LDAP metacharacters in an unauthenticated account-selection input. An attacker without authentication can exploit this to enumerate email addresses remotely. The vulnerability is fixed in version 15.1.1.
