Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-115323 describes a missing authorization vulnerability in EverShop's customer address API affecting versions >=1.2.2 and <2.2.1. Due to insufficient access controls, unauthenticated attackers can manipulate other customers' shipping addresses by sending crafted POST, PATCH, or DELETE requests to the relevant API routes if they know the target customer and address UUIDs. This vulnerability allows unauthorized management of sensitive customer data without authentication.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability enables unauthenticated attackers to add, modify, or delete shipping addresses of other customers, potentially leading to unauthorized changes in customer data and disruption of order deliveries. The CVSS 4.0 score of 6.9 (medium severity) reflects the network attack vector with no privileges or user interaction required, but limited confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.

Mitigation Recommendations

No explicit patch or remediation information is provided. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the affected API endpoints and monitor for suspicious requests involving customer and address UUIDs.
