AI-suggested

Since the vulnerability affects plugin versions up to 1.5.15, users should monitor the vendor's advisory for updates. Until a fix is available, restrict subscriber-level access or disable the plugin to prevent exploitation.

Description

The VOD Infomaniak WordPress plugin up to version 1.5.15 has an authorization bypass vulnerability. Authenticated users with subscriber-level access can perform actions reserved for higher roles, such as initiating video imports and modifying video content references. This occurs because the plugin's AJAX handler does not enforce role-based restrictions properly, allowing unauthorized use of the site owner's Infomaniak API credentials and manipulation of video content display.
