AI-suggested

Upgrade to Spreadsheet::XLSX version 0.19 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated by the vendor advisory.

Description

Spreadsheet::XLSX versions prior to 0.19 for Perl contain a code execution vulnerability due to unsafe evaluation of number format conditions during parsing. An attacker can craft a malicious XLSX file with number format conditions that trigger arbitrary Perl code execution when parsed by the vulnerable module.
