AI-suggested

Users should monitor the vendor's advisories for updates. Until a fix is available, avoid processing untrusted BMP files with vulnerable versions of CImg (<=4.0.6).

Description

CImg versions up to 4.0.6 have a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in the _load_bmp() function caused by an integer overflow in calculating the row byte count. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious BMP file with a large header width that causes the byte count to wrap, potentially leading to crashes or disclosure of heap memory into the decoded image.
