Description
A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in the WP Visitor Statistics (Real Time Traffic) WordPress plugin versions before 8.8. The plugin fails to sanitize and escape tracking data from public visitor requests before storing and displaying it in the administrative dashboard. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary scripts that execute when an administrator views the statistics pages.
