Until a fix is available, restrict authenticated user permissions to limit the ability to create or manipulate directories with shell metacharacters and monitor for suspicious activity related to file operations in the upload/files directory.

Description

Volmarg Personal Management System versions up to 2.1.0 contain an OS command injection vulnerability. Authenticated users can exploit this flaw by creating directories with shell metacharacters in the upload/files path and then moving or copying them, resulting in arbitrary shell command execution as the web server user. The vulnerability arises from improper neutralization of special elements in folder paths within the storage module's tree command.
