Users should restrict contributor-level access and above to trusted users only until a fix is released. Monitor the vendor's advisories for updates and apply patches promptly once available. Employing web application firewalls (WAFs) that detect and block XSS payloads may provide temporary mitigation.

Description

The aBlocks WordPress plugin up to version 2.18.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability via the 'headingTag' parameter. Authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts that execute when other users view the affected pages. This vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.
