No explicit patch or fix is provided in the available data. Until a fix is available, administrators should consider disabling comments or carefully moderating comments to prevent approval of attacker-controlled inputs. Additionally, configuring TranslatePress without a secondary language may mitigate the exploitation condition. Monitor vendor channels for updates and apply official patches once released.

Description

TranslatePress – Translate Multilingual sites with AI Translation plugin for WordPress versions up to 3.3.8 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting (XSS) via the 'comment' parameter. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious scripts that execute when users access the affected pages. Exploitation requires that the attacker's comment is previously approved under WordPress's default moderation settings and that a secondary language is configured in TranslatePress.
