Description

A resource exhaustion vulnerability exists in the authlib joserfc Python library prior to version 1.7.5. The joserfc.jwe.decrypt_json() function processes every recipient in a JWE General JSON Serialization recipients array without limiting the count, allowing an attacker to cause excessive CPU consumption. This can lead to denial of service without compromising confidentiality or integrity. The issue is fixed in version 1.7.5.
