Upgrade Stirling-PDF to version 3.0.0 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. Ensure that security.enableLogin is enabled to require authentication for accessing the vulnerable endpoint. No other specific mitigations are indicated by the vendor advisory.

Description

CVE-2026-119343 is a vulnerability in Stirling-PDF versions prior to 3.0.0 where an API endpoint accepts attacker-controlled HTML content without proper sanitization. This allows server-side requests to internal or cloud metadata resources and embedding of local files into generated PDFs. The vulnerable endpoint is accessible without credentials if security.enableLogin is disabled. The issue is fixed in version 3.0.0.
