Until a fix is available, restrict or monitor access to cache query submission to trusted users with BULK_READ permission to reduce risk. No vendor advisory states that no action is required or that the issue is already mitigated.

Description

CVE-2026-119542 is a vulnerability in the Ickle query parser component of Infinispan used in the Red Hat build of Apache Camel 4 for Quarkus 3. It allows an authenticated user with BULK_READ permission to submit a cache query with deeply nested predicates that cause uncontrolled recursion, leading to a StackOverflowError and potential denial of service due to thread stack exhaustion.
