AI-suggested

Upgrade SerpBear to version 3.1.1 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. Versions prior to 3.1.1 are affected. No other mitigation is indicated.

Description

SerpBear versions before 3.1.1 have a missing authentication vulnerability in the API endpoint /api/notify. This flaw allows unauthenticated remote attackers to send notification emails repeatedly without verification, potentially exhausting SMTP rate limits and causing abuse flags or email flooding. The issue is fixed in version 3.1.1.
