AI-suggested
Upgrade Grimoire to version 1.0.0 or later, where this SSRF vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is required as the fix addresses the root cause by enforcing proper authentication checks before processing user-supplied URLs.
Description
Grimoire versions before 1.0.0 have an unauthenticated server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in the /api/fetch-metadata POST endpoint. This flaw allows attackers to submit arbitrary URLs, including those targeting internal or cloud metadata services, and retrieve parsed metadata such as title, description, and page content without authentication.
