Users should monitor the vendor's advisory channels for updates. In the meantime, consider disabling the plugin or restricting access to the affected functionality if feasible. Applying web application firewall (WAF) rules to detect and block SQL Injection attempts targeting the 'email' parameter may provide temporary mitigation.
Description
The Affiliate Program Suite — SliceWP Affiliates WordPress plugin is affected by a SQL Injection vulnerability via the 'email' parameter in all versions up to and including 1.2.14. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary SQL queries due to insufficient input escaping and lack of proper query preparation. The vulnerability is triggered during WooCommerce My Account registration through a guest-accessible nonce, enabling data extraction from the database without requiring authentication.
