AI-suggested
Users should consider restricting network access to the Local Firmware Upgrade Interface (httpupg.cgi) to trusted sources only and monitor for suspicious activity. Due to the lack of vendor response, alternative mitigations such as network segmentation or disabling the vulnerable interface, if possible, should be considered until a patch is released.
Description
CVE-2026-120241 is a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Local Firmware Upgrade Interface (httpupg.cgi) of Ruijie RG-ES205GC and related models running ESW_1.0(1)B1P48.
