AI-suggested

Upgrade Outline to version 1.12.0 or later, where this authorization vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigations are indicated or required according to the available data.

Description

Outline versions prior to 1.12.0 have an authorization vulnerability in the authorizeDocumentPublish() function that allows authenticated users to publish documents into private collections without proper write permissions. Exploitation involves detaching a child document using documents.unpublish while retaining the parentDocumentId, then updating the document to inject phishing content into private collections.
