Description

CVE-2026-120959 is a low-severity vulnerability in the MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC Driver involving an out-of-bounds write due to improper memory handling. This flaw allows a malicious party who can influence query return values to cause data to be written outside the bounds of a buffer allocated by the client application, potentially leading to unintended memory modification or client process termination. Exploitation requires a specific application behavior requesting multiple result rows simultaneously. The issue affects versions from 1.3.0 up to but not including 3.0.1, where it has been fixed.
