AI-suggested

A patch is available in CFNext version 3.1.0 that fixes this vulnerability. Users should upgrade to version 3.1.0 or later to remediate the issue. Since this is a cloud service, the vendor manages remediation for the hosted environment; users should verify with the vendor that the service is updated accordingly.

Description

CFNext versions before 3.1.0 have a cryptographic vulnerability where the subscription UUID is generated using MD5 hashing of the admin password combined with a fixed public salt. This weak derivation allows attackers who hold subscription links to perform offline brute-force attacks on the admin password without rate limiting. Successful exploitation enables unauthorized admin panel access and exposure of sensitive secrets such as Trojan, Clash, Telegram, and Cloudflare API credentials. The issue is fixed in version 3.1.0.
