AI-suggested
Upgrade to go-vikunja vikunja version 2.7.1 or later, where this authorization bypass vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated or required.
Description
Vikunja versions prior to 2.7.1 have an authorization bypass vulnerability in the TaskBucket.CanUpdate function. The flaw allows authenticated users with write access to two different projects to move tasks between projects improperly. This can cause inconsistencies in task bucket counts and toggle task completion states incorrectly. The issue is fixed in version 2.7.1.
