AI-suggested

Upgrade Vikunja to version 2.7.1 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigation is indicated.

Description

Vikunja versions before 2.7.1 have a vulnerability that allows authenticated users to exhaust server memory by requesting avatars at many distinct sizes. This uncontrolled resource consumption can cause the API process to be terminated due to out-of-memory conditions. The issue is fixed in version 2.7.1.
