AI-suggested

Upgrade DataEase to version 2.10.28 or later, where the vulnerability is fixed. The vendor's patch replaces blacklist-based validation with namespace-aware allowlists and applies a restrictive Content Security Policy to SVG content. No additional mitigation is necessary once the upgrade is applied.

Description

CVE-2026-123992 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in DataEase versions up to 2.10.27. The flaw exists in the StaticResourceServer.validateSvgContent function of the SVG Handler component, allowing remote attackers to execute malicious scripts via crafted SVG content. The vendor has released a fix in version 2.10.28 that replaces blacklist checks with namespace-aware allowlists and applies a restrictive Content Security Policy to uploaded SVG responses.
