AI-suggested

Until a fix is available, users should avoid processing untrusted or crafted XMT files with vulnerable GPAC versions.

Description

GPAC versions up to and including 26.07.0 contain a type confusion vulnerability in the functions drawable_get_aspect_2d_mpeg4() and TraverseShape(). This flaw arises from improper casting of a Shape's appearance node to M_Appearance without verifying the node type, allowing crafted XMT files to cause invalid memory reads and application crashes.
