Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-14322 is an improper access control vulnerability (CWE-284) in the Timetics WordPress plugin prior to version 1.0.57. The plugin fails to enforce a pending or unpaid status on new bookings created via payment methods outside its recognized gateways. This allows unauthenticated attackers to create fully-approved, paid bookings without actual payment, potentially leading to unauthorized use of paid services or appointments.

Potential Impact

Unauthenticated users can bypass payment requirements and create approved bookings for priced appointments without paying. This can result in financial loss for service providers using the Timetics plugin, as attackers can exploit the system to obtain paid services for free.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Since no official fix or patch is currently documented, users should monitor vendor communications for updates and consider restricting payment methods or access controls as a temporary measure.
