Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-1829 is a high-severity remote code execution vulnerability in the Content Visibility for Divi Builder plugin for WordPress. The vulnerability arises from improper control over code generation in the 'cvdb_content_visibility_check' parameter of the 'et_pb_text' shortcode. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level privileges or above can leverage this flaw to execute arbitrary code on the hosting server, potentially compromising confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to execute arbitrary code on the server hosting the WordPress site. This can lead to full system compromise, including data theft, site defacement, or service disruption. The CVSS v3.1 base score is 8.8, reflecting high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
