Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-19073 is an information exposure vulnerability (CWE-200) in the Order Sync with Zendesk for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress. Versions prior to 2.2.3 do not enforce capability checks or verify that the requester owns the account being queried on one of its REST API endpoints. This flaw enables unauthenticated attackers to retrieve sensitive customer order data by exploiting the API with known or enumerated email addresses.

Potential Impact

An attacker can access private customer order histories and purchase totals without authentication, potentially leading to privacy violations and unauthorized disclosure of sensitive customer information.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is released, restrict access to the affected REST API endpoint if possible or monitor for suspicious access patterns related to customer data queries.
