Technical Analysis

This vulnerability (CVE-2026-19136) is an improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command (CWE-78) in the Lenovo Tianxi AI Agent PC Application. A local user can trigger OS command execution by opening a crafted link processed by the application. The affected versions are >=0 and <4.2.1.8111. The CVSS 4.0 base score is 8.4, indicating high severity, with attack vector local, low attack complexity, no privileges required, user interaction required, and high impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation allows a local user to execute arbitrary OS commands with the privileges of the application, potentially leading to full compromise of the affected system's confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Since the attack requires local user interaction, remote exploitation is not possible. No known exploits in the wild have been reported.

Mitigation Recommendations

Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, avoid opening untrusted links with the Tianxi AI Agent PC Application and restrict local user access where possible.
